Some of you may have been wondering where I've got to recently, well, this is what I've been doing. We decided to re-model our bedroom, as when it was last done I was still a working lady. However, now that I have to spend a lot of time in bed due to my back problems I wanted to change a few things so that visitors have somewhere to sit other than the bed, and you know how it is ............ one thing leads to another, and I ended up deciding to make a patchwork quilt. I'd just finished cutting out the pieces when I had a REALLY bad spell with my back and had to spend 3 whole weeks in bed, so what better to keep me occupied than piecing my quilt by hand? The picture shows it before it was quilted, which I did by machine, but I thought some of you might like to see why I haven't been blogging as usual.
Hope all my blogging friends are keeping well, and if you visit, have a look at the post below to see if you would like to take advantage of any of my shopping mistakes - I have a few stamps and dies for sale.
Having not done any card making for a while due to various LARGE sewing projects which I wanted to get done, I decided this afternoon to have a sort out of my craft room before I get back to paper crafting. I knew that over recent years I'd managed to double up on some of my purchases - due to the messy room, and a lousy memory, and have been hiding them in shame from my hubby, who would have a fit if he knew, so I now have several brand new and unused items which I would like to clear before hubby finally finds them!!!!!
They are as follows and I stress are all BRAND NEW :
Item 1 - Rosalie's Bike Stamp
Rosalie's Bike stamp (shown above) This is by Sarah Kay, it's a clear stamp, and you can buy it from The Glitter Pot for £6.95 - I would like £5.00 plus postage at cost, which is currently 58p second class.
Still in it's original packaging, this punch appears to be difficult to come by now - shows how long I've been hiding it since buying a duplicate (blush)! I would like £10.00 plus postage at cost which is £1.72 second class.
As you can tell, I obviously have way too many stamps and dies to have forgotten which ones I had and bought second sets, so hopefully some of my crafting buddies can save a few pennies on these items, and I can recoup some of the money that I so stupidly threw away!!!!
If you are interested please contact me stating which item(s) you would like, and I will get back to you with details of how to pay.
NB. These prices are for UK postage only. If you would like more than one I will happily combine postage for you).
Hi there folks, welcome to my blog about home making.
Due to spending a lot of time in bed with my back problems I found myself getting a bit bored with the room about a year ago, and started trying to change things little by little. I started off by making a quilt for our bed, and have recently added some other items to make it more rustic looking.
This blog will keep you up to date with my latest interest, I hope you enjoy checking in from time to time, and love to read any comments that you care to leave.
