Dance like no one's watching
Well, not quite sure about this one!! I was asked to make a card for an 80 year old gentleman who likes ballroom dancing. I knew I had absolutely NOTHING amongst my stash for this, so hunted the internet until I came up with this clipart image. Because it's not the clearest, I decided to cut it out and emboss it with clear embossing powder to try and make it stand out a little more. I then used some 1mm sticky pads to lift it from the mat, and made a frame using my oval nesties. The background paper is Papermania. I used an MS punch on silver mirri card to add a bit of interest. The sentiment was computer generated, and then cut out with another Nestie, and then fixed with a bit of ribbon from my stash. I think the thing I'm not too sure about is the 80, but it had to be there, as it's quite an achievement to get to that age, don't you think?
I hope you like it, and more importantly that the lady who requested it does, lol.
Hope you've enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend.
Thanks for looking

I really don't know what you're worried about Judi, this card is absolutely lovely and I'm sure the lady who requested it will be very pleased indeed. I love the monochrome look and everything on the card fits into place perfectly. Its always hard when you are making commissions, I'm the same, you always worry that its not what the customer wants, but when they get it they are over the moon! Hugs, Claire x
