Hi again
Today I'm going to show you Paul's birthday card which I mentioned yesterday. I spent ages faffing with this. I seemed to have so many conflicting ideas, and I couldn't get anything to come together, so in the end I put it all away and started from scratch. I loved this paper which is one in a pile of freebies kindly given to me by my wonderful crafty friend Tasha last year. The image is from Digi Stamp Boutique, and really sums up my darling hubby!!! He likes a drop of beer, loves to read his paper, and really enjoys a snooze at ANY time, lol. As you can see, what I came up with in the end was SO simple, that I couldn't believe I'd fretted so much, but I guess it was a case of I tried too hard, because I wanted to make it special.

Oh - this is a fabulous hubby card Judi - it would be perfect for my hubby too (except for the age number of course), but the image is fantastic! Love your colouring and the papers too. Happy birthday to your hubby!

Oh I so know what you mean Judi! Sometimes we think about things waaaay too much and it is so difficult! I bet he will adore this though! The colors are wonderful and such a great image for your hubby! It turned out fantastic!
