Happy Birthday - Lillie Rose
This card was made for Lillie Rose's 1st Birthday. I've used an image called 'Little Eden' from Belles 'n' Whistles which I was lucky enough to win in a blog hop! I kept the card fairly simple as obviously Lillie Rose won't be that bothered, lol, but hopefully her parents will like it. The papers are from a download - sorry, I can't for the life of me remember who's they are. Everything was stitched into place, and with a few pearls, courtesy of my lovely birthday package from Tasha, I was finished.
Hope you like it?

THE WEDDING of MY YEAR!!!
Hi there peeps
As you may have heard, my daughter is getting married at the end of October, and I got the job of making invites etc. This weekend I've been busy getting all the place names done, and I put one of the invites in the background for those of you who wanted to see them. The place names are made in the diamond 'springy' style - phew! They sure were more hard work than I'd expected, but when I saw them all laid out like this, I figured it was worth it. Would love to know what you think, oh, and in case you can't really see it clearly, the dark colour is 'Cadbury' purple mirri card.

Another stocking!
I didn't really have a plan when I started this stocking, but was aiming at something a bit more sophisticated, rather than the cutesy style that I normally go for. The papers are from an Aimee Asher download. Poinsettia cut with Marianne Creatables dies. Snowflakes and borders - MS punches. Merry Christmas stamp - Magnolia. Ribbon and lace from stash.
Again, I'd love to know what you think.

Put the flags out!
Hello again!
Today I'd like to share a card made for a friend's birthday, he's another man who loves to BBQ, so I thought this dear little teddy from LOTV might suit. Once again I've used these vibrant papers and thought that the bunting conjured up the feel of hot summer days - not that we get many here, but he lives in Spain, so I think it's appropriate!!
It took me ages to figure out the best way to do the flags, but I was pleased with the finished effect.
Let me know what you think if you have time.
Wishing you a happy weekend,
Hugs

My First Christmas Stocking!
Hi there
I've been itching to make one of these 'stocking' cards for ages, but have been so busy with preparing invitations for my daughter's wedding, and organising birthday cards, that it's taken a while to get around to it.
I couldn't find a template, so once again drew one up myself, only to find that Marianne put one on her blog today! Oh, well, it's done it now, and I was only 0.5 cms out in either direction, lol.
Tilda, as always is coloured with Copics, and I've inked the edges of the various papers with Vintage Paper distress ink, and then added a bit of sparkle with Stickles. The papers I've used are from a lovely new Paper Mania pad called Silent Night, which was part of my birthday present from the lovely Tasha. The gold poinsettia and swirl, are made of mirri card, and are both cut with Marianne Creatables dies Love the poinsettia one, I think it's gonna get a whole lot of use in the next couple of months, lol.
Hope you like it, as I must confess to being pretty chuffed with the finished article.

Porky's Birthday!
Evening all,
Well, I hope you've all had a great weekend inspite of the weather!!!
I've had to spend a bit of time in bed, but when I was able to get up I got on and made this card for my Brother in Law's birthday. His nickname is 'Porky', hence the wording on the card. He used to do a lot of BBQ's so I thought that this lovely stamp with the cook serving up 'PORK' sausages might be a suitable image to use. Bearing in mind that the weather is supposed to be bright, and hot when you BBQ, I felt these 'hot' coloured papers would fit the bill. The stamp is called 'Grillin' Joseph' from High Hopes stamps and was a gift from a lovely lady by the name of Elaine - thanks Elaine. The papers are a download, but I can't for the life of me remember from where - this gettin' old business really is no fun ya know!! The ticket sentiment is from Stamping All Day.
Hope you like it.

BLOG AWARD!!
Hi there peeps
Janette from http://little-boscraftyplace.blogspot.com/ has kindly awarded me the lovely new award below - thanks Janette!
Apparently, I now have to pass it on to seven other bloggers that I think worthy of it, which will be VERY difficult, as I follow MANY blogs, and love them all, but I guess I have to chose, so here goes:
Sharon - http://cardsngreetings.blogspot.com
Fiona - http://lildaff.blogspot.com
April - http://aprilsroses.blogspot.com
These are just some of those crafters that I admire, so even if your blog isn't listed, please don't assume I don't like your work.
Hugs to all

Baby Girl
Hi there folks
Having had to rush and make a card for a new baby girl on Friday evening as I didn't have a spare in my box, I thought I'd better rectify the problem, so here is the second attempt.
The image is from LOTV. Papers were a download from a company that have now ceased trading. The flowers were handmade using a mixture of punches, and my new Marianne Creatable die, that I bought at Stamperama at the weekend. The sentiment was computer generated, and then cut out with a nestie - how on earth did we make our cards before Spellbinders, lol? The heart is a copy from a baby boy card that I made recently, and is put together using various parts of a Martha Stewart punched shape.
Would love to hear your comments if you have time, they always are VERY much appreciated.
Hugs to all

Let there be light! - Card No. 080
Hi peeps
Today I would like to share a card that I've made using one of this year's new LOTV Christmas stamps, these are just SO cute! The papers I've used are a digital download from Aimee Asher called 'Vicorian Christmas'. I've tried out Kim Piggott's technique of inking and distressing the edges, then going over the ink with Stickles. I'm quite pleased with it, but on reflection, wish I'd used a slightly lighter ink!!! Maybe next time, lol. The greeting was computer generated and the snowflake is made up using the large and small Martha Stewart punches, and an acrylic snowflake cut with Nesties, and then covered with Twinklets.
Hope you like it?
