A SEMI retirement card!!
Well, hopefully you're all nearly ready for Christmas now, as it's almost upon us.
Today I have a non-Christmas card to show you. A friend asked if I could make a card for a lady who is going into semi-retirement, after years as a high flying business woman, and this is what I came up with. The stamp was a FREEBIE from the wonderful Mo Manning, which I've been itching to use for ages, but just haven't gotten around to it, so this seemed the perfect opportunity. The papers are I think from Basic Grey. The ticket was computer generated, and then cut out with my new ticket die from Whimsy - it's BRILLIANT! The flowers and candy dots are home made, oh, and I nearly forgot the little bit of border just poking through under the ticket, which was cut with an MS punch.
If you can spare a minute at the busiest time of year to leave a comment I would love to hear what you think of my creation.
Hugs

Tilda gets her Christmas Tree
Hi again peeps
This time I would like to show you a card I've made for my middle Granddaughter. She loves Tilda, so it simply had to be something with her on. I bought the background stamp last winter with a view to using my Tilda and Edwin skating stamps, but thought it made quite a nice background for 'Tilda with Christmas Fir'. A few snowflakes, and a computer generated sentiment complete this one, oh, and of course LOTS of Glamour Dust!
Hope you have time to let me know what you think.

Mimo in the snow
Afternoon all
Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, like the rest of you I've been busy with all the pre-Christmas preparations. Anyway, today I would like to share a card that I've made using a couple of stamps from Bildmalarna. I stamped Mimo, then masked her to put in the fence - first time I've done this in a while. The image is of course coloured with my copics. I then added a piece of dark blue shimmery paper to give the feeling of a night sky. I then ripped a piece of white paper and glittered it with Glamour dust to give the background snow. The paper is from the Christmas Dreams digital set at Bearly Mine. Snowflakes - large die from Marianne Designs - Small - MS punch. The sentiment is a new one from Whimsy, and the ribbon from my stash.
Hope you like it.
Warm hugs to you all.

Howdy Pardner!
Hi peeps
Sorry for the lack of posting recently, like everyone, I've been busy with Christmas preparations, that is when I've not been stuck in bed - grrrr!! I do try to keep smiling, but boy does it get difficult sometimes!
Anyway, this card is for my nextdoor neighbour's birthday. He used to play guitar as a youngster, so when my friend sent me some images a while back I figured this might be just the job for yet another tricky man's card. I don't think the lighting does this card justice, but it's tricky getting it right on winter days. The papers I've used are Basic Grey, and I believe the image is is a digi from Digi Doodle Shop.
Hope you like it.
