What a Cutie!!

Hi again

For today's card I've used an image from Belles & Whistles called 'Little Eden', which I was lucky enough to win in a blog hop a while back.  The paper is if I remember correctly from Papermania, although once again I can't remember the name of the set - honestly, this gettin' old business is no joke!!

I've kept it pretty simple with just a little matting, and layering, with everything stitched in place - I've really gotten into using the machine on my cards lately.  The butterfly is an MS punch, I cut two and layered them, then gave them the Glamour Dust treatment.  The sentiment is computer generated, and the ribbon is from my stash.

That's all for now folks, so I'll wish you a great weekend, and hope we can all manage to keep warm!!

Baby Girl - Pink Christmas

Hi there

Today's card uses yet another image from the delightful Mo Manning.  As I made it a few days ago, and have an AWFUL memory due to old age setting in (lol), I can't remember who the papers are from, but I do know they're digitals.  The poinsettia was cut using Marianne Design small poinsettia dies, I then cut some leaves with the lovely MS leaf punch, and put a snowflake, again made with one of Mariannes dies underneath.  All was then thoroughly tarted up with Glamour Dust.  A bit of stitching, a computer generated sentiment, and that about sums it up.

Sexy Santa!

Hi everyone, hope your weekend has got off to a good start.

Today I've got another one of Kenny K's fab images that I've made into a Christmas card for the boys.  It's all pretty self explanatory, other than to say that I'm quite chuffed with myself for making the ticket sentiment.   The words for it were borrowed from 'One Happy Little Crafters' blog,  Lisa very kindly is offering this and some other ticket sentiments as a FREE download, but unfortunately I couldn't get mine to print properly, so decided to try and create one the same - the good thing about this is that I can now print it in any colour I like, and having worked out how to achieve the ticket, I can add any words I want, so many thanks for getting me started Lisa.

As always, hope you like it.

Baby boy's Christmas

Hi again

Today's card uses another Mo image, this time it's 'I even like the box'.  I'm really quite pleased with the way this one turned out.  Hope you like it too.

Football Mad!

Hi everyone

Today I'd like to show you a card that I made for a 30th birthday.  The guy it's for is football mad, so I thought this image from Mo Manning would be perfect.

As always, I'd love to hear what you think.

Tasha's Birthday Card

Hi there peeps

Today I would like to share a card that I made for my friend's birthday.  The image is one from Mo Manning, and reminded me of my friend the minute that I saw it, and would you believe that they're both called TASHA!!!  My friend of course isn't only 2 years old, and thank goodness I've never seen her have a tantrum, but I bet when she does, she looks just like this, lol.  To add insult to injury the papers that I've used on the card are some of an enormous pile that Tash gave me earlier this year because she didn't like them any more!!  Talk about getting your own back, lol.

I used a Martha Stewart punch for the white border, Nesties for all the shapes, and with a couple of homemade flowers and a bit of stitching that's about it.

Hope you like it

Tinkerbell Bag Card

003

Afternoon all,

Hope you’ve had a good weekend so far.

Today I would like to show you another card that I’ve made using my home made bag template.  A friend requested this card for a 30 year old girl /woman who apparently loves Tinkerbell.  I had to check in the end whether she actually meant Tinkerbell the fairy, or whether there was some new trend out there that had passed me  by, lol.

Anyway, I started off with a piece of plain black card, and decided to add some texture with a bit of clear embossing.  I then used an MS punch for the purple border, and topped it with some shiny black card that I ran through my crimper.  The image of Tinkerbell was downloaded from the internet and coloured with Copics,  (hope I haven’t broken any laws, it was a colouring page, so fingers crossed it’s OK??)   I then added a couple of handmade flowers, some leaves cut wit a Leon Em punch, and a couple of tags with computer generated sentiments.

Hope you can spare the time to leave a comment, as it’s always good to hear from you.

Hugs

Card No. 095

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't posted in the last few days, I've been confined to bed in absolute flippin' agony with my back, but I'm feeling a bit better today, so was able to finish off this card.  The image is one from the latest Magnolia release.  The papers are Bo Bunny - I just LOVE these colours!  I added a border cut with a Magnolia Doo Hickey die, and then the other white piece was embossed with my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. I also used an MS border punch for the icicle edges, and smaller snowflake, and Marianne Design dies for the tree, and larger snowflake.  I didn't have a pearl or brad in the right colour for the centre of the snowflake, so coloured one with my Copics.   The ticket is one of a digi set that I purchased, but I'm afraid I can't remember at the moment who it came from.

Hope you like it.

Kelly’s Wedding Card

Kelly's Wedding Card 004

Hi again

Now that the big event is over I can finally show you the card that I made for my daughter's wedding.  For those of you that checked out the pictures in my earlier post you may have guessed that the characters are coloured to represent the children, ie two blondes and a brunette, and of course my daughter is blonde and her husband (oooh, it's nice to call him that after all these years), is also dark.  When Magnolia released their Wedding Collection earlier this year I was chuffed to bits, as the grandkids love Tilda and I knew that they would like it if I made a wedding card using her.  I made the flowers myself, and the sentiments were computer generated.

As always, I hope you like it
