Rugby Man

O.K. so I've made cards for football fans, fishermen, and DIYers, so today it's one for the Rugby fans.  As yet, they don't appear to have released the Flippin' Men in all their different guises, so I had to resort to decoupage for this one.  It's quite a big picture, which meant I had to use an A5 card which I'm not usually terribly comfortable with, and with it being a man's card I wanted to keep it fairly simple, so used only one patterned paper, and just did lots of matting and layering.  I distressed the surround of the white mat, in line with the grubby rugby kit, did a bit of faux stitching, and that's about it really.  The darkest mat is actually a very dark green to match with the stripey paper, and not black, as it appears on my screen.

Do let me know what you think, if you have the time, and inclination.

  1. Jeepers I think you should be a designer for this company! You have certainly done their stamps justice! LOVE the way you colored him with the mud - ha ha - very clever!

This is great. Everything about it is just right :-) Funny thing is is that I printed this off yesterday to make a card with but never got round to using it. We are becoming too spooky, lol.
