Distressed Tilda - Card No. 100
Hi there peeps
Today I have my second Christmas card of the year for you, and this time it's a Tilda card. In making this one, I've done something really unusual .......... I've used Distress Inks instead of Copics to colour with!! Shocked or what, lol? I greatly admire the Scandinavian style of colouring, and tried to emulate this, but it's going to take a LOT of practice before I'm truly happy with it. The papers are an old set from Dovecraft (I think). The tag tucked behind Tilda is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die, which I've stamped with a Whimsy Winter Letter Seal. The little 25th December button is a stamp that I think I bought from LOTV, but can't find them on their website, so I might be mistaken about that. A bit of corrugated card which I've slapped some white paint on and then distressed, a snowflake, and that's about it.
Hope you like it.

Fabulous Tilda card Judi - love the soft DI colouring - it's nice to have a change from the Copics occasionally, though I do find them totally addictive!! Love your layout and the snowflake is awesome! Hugs, Sylvia xxx

ReplyDeleteOH MA WORD!! This is absolutely GORGEOUS! And I love how you make it sound so easy. Just slap some paint on and voila! LOL!! ♥♥♥ that distressing and have thought about trying it but I have soooooo much invested with my Copics that it will be awhile for I try that. You did very very well tho. I also like they way they make everything look so vintage. You achieved that as well. Perfect card Judi!
