This is what kept me away from my cardmaking!

Hi peeps

Some of you may have been wondering where I've got to recently, well, this is what I've been doing.  We decided to re-model our bedroom, as when it was last done I was still a working lady.  However, now that I have to spend a lot of time in bed due to my back problems I wanted to change a few things so that visitors have somewhere to sit other than the bed, and you know how it is ............ one thing leads to another, and I ended up deciding to make a patchwork quilt.  I'd just finished cutting out the pieces when I had a REALLY bad spell with my back and had to spend 3 whole weeks in bed, so what better to keep me occupied than piecing my quilt by hand?  The picture shows it before it was quilted, which I did by machine, but I thought some of you might like to see why I haven't been blogging as usual.

Hope all my blogging friends are keeping well, and if you visit, have a look at the post below to see if you would like to take advantage of any of my shopping mistakes - I have a few stamps and dies for sale.

Hugs
