Tilda - Mother's Day Card

Hello fellow crafters, and of course anyone else checking out my blog.

Today I would like to show you a card that I really struggled with!!!  A friend suggested that I should make some Mother's Day cards to sell, however, my Mum died 8 years ago, before I started cardmaking, and even after all this time, I found the emotions running high when I printed out the sentiment, so I'm not sure whether I'll make any more.

I love the Tilda image that I've used, and felt that the papers I've used ( a FREE download from http://www.card‐making‐ ) were a perfect foil for Tilda's lilacs.  I cut the flowers using Spellbinders - Flower Creations - 3, then screwed them up and sanded them gently to give a distressed effect.  Layered three different sizes together for the large flower, added a crystal to the centre, and hey presto!  Leaves were cut using the Leone Em punch.  Computer generated sentiment, and ribbon from stash.

Let me know what you think
