Tilda with Vintage Roses

Evening everyone

Just thought I'd upload a card that I made recently with this delicious Tilda from the Jolly Snowy 2009 collection.  As usual she's coloured with Copics, and is actually blonde although the colour doesn't show very well in the pic.  The papers are K & Co, Classic K McKenna.  The flowers are made up with a punched flower, topped with a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts, and then I cut matching leaves with another punch.  I drew the swirl, and then glued individual flat backed pearls from Katy's Cards over the top.  This is the first time I've done this, but it was actually MUCH easier than I'd previously thought, so chances are you'll be seeing lots more pearly swirls in the near future.  I also did quite a bit of stitching on this card, using my new Janome Mini machine.  I got so frustrated, having to always wait until Paul was available to lift the old one onto the craft table for me, that I decided to treat myself to a lightweight one, and I think it's going to be great if the performance on this card was anything to go by.  Sentiment - computer generated.

That's it for now folks

Have a good weekend

Judi
