Marcus's Christening

Hi there folks

I was asked the other day to make another Christening card.  I'd never made one in my life until a few months ago, and I think this is the third.  However two of them are for the same little boy, so had to be COMPLETELY different.  Hopefully I've acheived this???

The top one is made using a digital image from Mo Manning, called John - Praying.  The customer asked for a 'modern' card, not quite sure what that means, but hopefully this fits the bill.  I kept it very simple just lots of matting and layering.  The main shape was cut with Nesties, as was the shape the sentiment is in.  Obviously the sentiment was computer generated.

The second card, features a 'Forever Friends' bear, which I got from The Glitter Pot.  I used some of a very old pack of Papermania papers, a little bit of punchwork done with an MS punch, a tiny bit of ribbon from my stash, and then made up the bible by hand, and printed off the pages on the computer.

I would love to hear what you think of them, good or bad.
