Good evening everyone, hope you've enjoyed the fabulous sunshine we've had today?
The card that I want to show you features 'Princess Tilda'. I LOVE this image, and was so thrilled when it finally arrived from Sir Stampalot last week.
I decided that I would use the sketch over at Just Magnolia and am really pleased with the results, so will probably enter it in the challenge. I bought the striped paper from The Hobby House stand at Stamperama in February. Sorry, I can't remember which brand it is, and am now stuck in bed, so can't go and check. I just loved the peach and green colours, they looked really fresh and clean. Unfortunately, it doesn't really show on the photo, but the peach paper that I matted Tilda onto has a lovely sheen to it, which totally complements her regal status. The ribbon was also purchased from The Hobby House at the show, I actually thought about matching something up for once, lol.
Flowers were made up from a selection in my stash, and I added a bit of Stickles to the central one which was a kind of pearlescent clear finish. The leaves and other punch work were done with Martha Stewart punches, and the sentiment was computer generated. I think on looking at it again, I might add a little something with the number 4 on it, and give it to my youngest granddaughter on her birthday, as she's a proper little 'princess'.
Thanks for looking, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
